Went to book club last night, although it was pretty pointless as I'd not had a chance to read any of the books enough to discuss them. Thankfully we've only got 1 book this time to read, so I might make more of an effort this time.
I have discovered that I'm thankfully not as unfit as I'd expected to be. I cycled there and managed an average of 10mph which is less than I used to manage (12mph) but is better than when I first started cycling (9mph).
I need to fit more exercise into my life and I suspect start eating better again. Lunch at work is actually worse than it was at the BBC cos there are so many unhealthy options and the team goes to lunch together. Must have a stronger willpower and resist the temptationi to follow the others to get junk food.
