(no subject)

Since coming back from my excursion abroad, I've seen to lost my mojo for getting to the special shuttle bus with plenty of time to spare. This morning was no exception and I arrived (yet again) as it was pulling in to the carpark.

But that's not the gist of this entry today. On my mad headlong dash to catch the bus, I spotted something moving across the ground. Initially it looked hideous, a mass of browns and greens sort of like a high speed slug oozing across the pavement. It was only as I got closer that I realised that it was a ickle cute bat. If I hadn't have been in such a rush, I'd have taken a photo or something, but instead you'll have to take my word at how cute and ickle it was. Not sure what the green stuff was - looked like pond weed or something. I'm wondering if it was hurt as it was just crawling along the ground :(

Unlikely to see it again by now as it'll have either got away, got eaten or got run over. I hope the ickle bugger makes it back home OK though.
