As an experiment, we (GameSoc) ventured forth to see how the Guildford LaserQuest compared to the Wokingham one. Journey is obviously a lot worse as we have to change trains. It was made even worse by there being engineering works. As I'd remembered from last time, the venue is significantly larger and more complex which is clearly a good thing. The games cost a lot more though. And unfortunately the kit was a joke (which I guess is to be expected on April Fool's day) - very few of the packs seemed to register hits properly. Meh.
A day of excitement does mean that I'm all sleepy which is good. Hopefully I'll get a decent bit of sleep tonight.
