I'm very pleased with myself. I woke up a bit later than I had intended, but after a nice long hot bath I actually down to doing something useful. I emptied the 6 crates and carried them back to the old flat. Then I popped out and did some shopping and got something nice for lunch and bumped into Kerry and Jamie. Now I'm back at the old place and wondering where to start with packing as there still seems so much left to go.

Got very bored of packing very quickly, so I've decided to look online for somewhere that sells and installs doors. So far I've not had much luck, as most websites don't list prices or even if they fit doors. I think I'll have to phone a few of the more promising looking places to get some more answers - but that will have to wait until Monday.

Ewwww!

I don't know how, when, why, what etc...but my old flat appears to have developed a leak. Both windows in the lounge/bedroom have black gunk and water at the bottom of them and the frames look moist. I only realised this was the case when I went to move some videos (recordables not bought) off the window ledge where I'd left them and discovered some of them to be wet on one edge. I've no idea if they're OK, I've half a mind to just ditch them as I'd only be recording over them if I kept them.

Well thats 4 crates filled and I'm hungry and bored, so I figure it's time to head off home and at least with the hunger. Boredom is a little harder to fix, but I've been managing admirably the past couple of weeks.

Tomorrow I have my parents visiting the new place to see what it's like. Since they're arriving at "lunch time", the plan is to take 'em to the pub for lunch as well as showing them around. They might also help me move a load of stuff too, but they'll be typically disapproving of whatever it is I want to transport, so I think I'll try and get out of that.
